Molecular Modeling and Conformational Analysis of MuSK Protein
نویسندگان
چکیده
Muscle-specific kinase (MuSK) is a crucial receptor tyrosine kinase required for the development and function of neuromuscular junction. Although many domains of the protein have already been modeled with crystallographic techniques in various organisms, a single model for the whole human structure is not yet available. We have tried to predict a complete model of the protein, by using two parallel Homology Modeling procedures, one automated and one user-based. In addition, by adopting Molecular Dynamics Simulations (MD) further insight on the structure and the intermolecular interactions of the protein

In silico Analysis and Modeling of ACP-MIP–PilQ Chimeric Antigen from Neisseria meningitidis Serogroup B
Background: Neisseria meningitidis, a life-threatening human pathogen with the potential to cause large epidemics, can be isolated from the nasopharynx of 5–15% of adults. The aim of the current study was to evaluate biophysical and biochemical properties and immunological aspects of chimeric acyl-carrier protein-macrophage infectivity potentiator protein-type IV pilus biogenesis protein ...

The purpose of this study is to investigate the interaction of Etofylline as an established drug for asthma remedy, with the major transport protein in human blood circulation, the human serum albumin (HSA). In this respect, the fluorescence and circular dichroism (CD) spectroscopy techniques, along with the molecular docking and molecular dynamics simulation methods were employed. Analysis of ...

Background: The clinical phenotyping of patients with achromatopsia harboring variants in phosphordiesterase 6C (PDE6C) has poorly been described in the literature. PDE6C encodes the catalytic subunit of the cone phosphodiesterase, which hydrolyzes the cyclic guanosine monophosphate that proceeds with the hyperpolarization of photoreceptor cell membranes, as the final step of the phototransduct...
متن کاملGlobal analysis of muscle-specific kinase signaling by quantitative phosphoproteomics.
The development of the neuromuscular synapse depends on signaling processes that involve protein phosphorylation as a crucial regulatory event. Muscle-specific kinase (MuSK) is the key signaling molecule at the neuromuscular synapse whose activity is required for the formation of a mature and functional synapse. However, the signaling cascade downstream of MuSK and the regulation of the differe...
